We use the Fleischsaftgarung (FSG) cooking method to prepare PLATINUM Click-Bits Chicken & Lamb. The FSG method is a way of cooking fresh meat developed in the kitchen—not in the pet food industry. It’s based on techniques often used by chefs to make meat tastier and healthier by using its own natural meat juices. It is a carefully selected combination of these culinary techniques, adapted to the natural needs and preferences of dogs.
The Fleischsaftgarung process cooks fresh meat in its own nutrient-rich juices—just like in traditional cooking. Our treats are made by gently cooking fresh meat at low temperatures for a long time, during which the meat juices are continuously reduced using a cooking technique known as reduction.
